This self-tensioning tool is hand powered, so tightening the stainless steel tie to your desired tension is achieved by simply squeezing and holding the handle. When you are satisfied with the tension, use the cutting lever to cut the cable tie. Due to the design and cutting angle, if done properly, this tool will not leave any sharp edges. After releasing the handle, the self-return spring will bring the tool back into position for the next cable tie.
